LOCAL ARIZONA HONEY
Absolutely Delightful was established in 2002. A mom (Eleanor Dziuk) had the idea that her 10 and 11 year old children (Ian and Annalee) were going to learn that money doesn’t grow on trees, decided to have her own business and delegated jobs (like it or not) to the up and coming sales people of our family.

The farmers market at Roadrunner Park on 32nd Street and Cactus was our first location. Soon they realized that by the time they paid all of their expenses (insurance, peddler’s permits etc) that it was necessary to add to their little inventory. In the summer of '04 there was an apparent need for Arizona honey so they added this to their growing Arizona general store of food toppings.
In the spring of 2007, the little store became too much to be hauling around. They explored the idea of just taking only one product to market, and decided it would be “ARIZONA HONEY”. Ian, now 16, decided that he wanted to have a market to himself. Eleanor expanded out to three new locations; The Saturday Downtown Phoenix Market, phoenixpublicmarket.com, the Wednesday,Town & Country Market at 20th Street and Camelback Road and the Thursday, Market on Mill at 7th Avenue and Mill in Tempe. Annalee, now 18, went out and got a real job (as she calls it) at Sprouts farmers market, so I conclude the influence was somewhat good!
Dennis Arp of Mountain Top Honey Company in Flagstaff is the main supplier of all the wonderful ARIZONA bee products. He supplies Absolutely Delightful with filtered honey, RAW (unheated, unfiltered) and honey comb. All of these products are local. Some of the (natural) flavors are Orange Blossom, Mesquite, Desert Wildflower, Flagstaff Wildflower, Catsclaw and Camelthorn when available.
Alex Ostrowski of Alex Apiary Specialist of North Phoenix is another supplier. He provides local raw honey (unheated, unfiltered) as well as bee pollen and propolis.
Russell Peterson of Arizona Desert Honey Company of Wickenburg is the newest supplier. He specializes in local raw Wild Desert Honey (unheated, unfiltered).
